Do You do Dunkin Donuts Coffee?

Dunkin’ Donuts coffee is so bad that for a while I expected it to be the next craze among the hipsters. I can just picture it now – the same clones who end the days with PBR starting them with a steaming, bitter, tasteless glass of Dunkin doughnuts coffee along with a few donut holes.

You see, I am a bit of a coffee snob. I love blue Mountain coffee, and never drink the stuff that comes from crystals. At home, I have a selection of fair trade coffee grown in some of the best locations in the world. Coffee sets the beat of my life – I wake up with a cup of it, and I go to bed after working the night shift just as the evening dose of caffeine leaves my body.

You can probably understand why it is so awful for me to have nothing but Dunkin Donuts coffee to drink all day. I tried to bring my own coffee from home in hopes of avoiding Dunkin Donut coffee, but no luck. As soon as my boss caught on, he forbid it. He told me that it was my responsibility to endorse the products that we sold.

I would be able to bring my own lunches, of course, but I would not be able to drink coffee from an outside source. Nonetheless, in hopes of avoiding the Dunkin Donuts coffee, I still occasionally smuggle in mugs from home. One time, in a rare fit of bravery, I even switched the Dunkin Donuts coffee with some gourmet coffee that I had brewed myself. That cheered up some of the customers!

Nonetheless, if there is one good thing about Dunkin Donuts coffee, it is the fact that it does seem to go pretty well with the doughnuts.

You see, coffee does not need a lot of flavor when it is being eaten some of the creamiest, sweetest donuts in the world. It just needs to balance out the taste of the doughnuts, and Dunkin Donuts coffee seems to do a pretty good job of that.

Still, when I eat my doughnuts with a superior brand of coffee, they taste a lot better!
